Fröling, KWB, Viessmann, Buderus: why do we insist on German-Austrian machines?

Anyone who looks through our range may notice that the same names keep appearing over and over again: Fröling, KWB, Hargassner, Guntamatic, Herz, Viessmann, Buderus. This is a conscious decision. Selling used machines is only worthwhile for brands that can still be repaired, supplied with spare parts, and retain their value even after fifteen to twenty years.

Quality truly shows when used

When new, every boiler is beautiful. The difference is visible ten years later: how thick the steel is, how the combustion chamber withstands temperature fluctuations, how worn the mechanics are, and whether a control panel is still available for it. Austrian and German manufacturers are unbeatable in this, these machines were built for generations, with an extensive service network and spare parts supply available for decades.

Moreover, Austria is at the global forefront of biomass technology. Developments from Fröling or KWB, from lambda sensor combustion control to automatic heat exchanger cleaning, have sooner or later become standards across the entire industry. The capabilities of a ten-year-old top-tier Austrian machine still exceed those of many new, lower-budget boilers today.

Where do our machines come from?

We buy the vast majority of our boilers from Austria and Germany, typically from places where they upgraded using tender funds, and the well-functioning old machine became redundant. These boilers were operated with regular maintenance and a documented history, providing an ideal starting point for refurbishment.

We inspect and prepare every machine here at home for work once again. What does not meet the standards, we do not sell, it is simply as simple as that, and that is why we dare to say: with us, used does not mean a compromise, but a sensible calculation.
