ELCO Klöckner Vistron KL-300-ER hot water storage tank, 270 liters

ELCO – premium heating technology with Swiss roots

ELCO, founded in Switzerland in 1928, offers heat generators and hot water solutions. Vistron storage tanks are designed to coordinate heat generation and hot water consumption.

Klöckner Vistron KL-300-ER – 270-liter hot water storage tank

For the production and storage of domestic hot water, adapted to a central heating heat generator. The original data plate of this specific unit indicates KL-300-ER, serial number 243350; the manufacturing year is not interpreted from uncertain markings.

Features verified from the original data plate

• 270-liter potable water capacity: storage reserve to balance instantaneous hot water demand and reheating.
• Enameled steel design: internal construction according to the data plate; the condition of the anode is an important part of corrosion protection.
• 1.2 m² lower heat exchanger: indirect hot water preparation from the heating circuit, separating the two water circuits.
• 34.2 kW nominal heat transfer: according to the data plate at a flow rate of 3 m³/h and temperature conditions of 80/45 °C; it may differ at other operating points.
• On the potable water side 10 bar and 95 °C: permitted limits indicated on the original plate.
• On the heat exchanger side 10 bar, 110 °C, and 6.9 liters: pressure, temperature, and volume data specific to the heating circuit.
• 33 × 480 mm anode designation: dimension from the original data plate; the replacement part is selected based on type, connection, and installation length.

The attached ELCO factory spare parts list 2024 – Vistron 300ER excerpt contains the anode reference for the 300ER family. Parts list, not the installation manual of the KL-300-ER. The original cover and printed page 150 are preserved unchanged; the 4-digit spare parts prices inside do not reflect the current new price of the storage tank.
