The Fröling FHE 40 multi-fuel boiler shown in the pictures is a manually fed, classic solid fuel design. The appliance can be used with wood and coke, and the robust boiler body is designed for traditional central heating systems. The boiler features the factory flue gas and water-side connections, the combustion chamber access door, and the fittings belonging to the combustion system.
According to the factory data plate, the type is Fröling FHE 40, the year of manufacture is 1992, the nominal heat output specified for wood fuel is 32 kW, and for coke 46 kW. The permitted operating overpressure is 2.5 bar, the permitted flow temperature is 95 °C, and the serial number is 40 3663. Before installation and commissioning, inspection of the chimney, safety fittings, and the complete heating system by a specialist is required.
New reference price: the gross price of today's similar 35–45 kW multi-fuel boilers ranges roughly between 4,000–7,000 EUR; this is a comparative new price, not the original factory price of the old Fröling FHE 40.
