ELECTRICAL CONTROL CABINET
The boiler's original electrical control cabinet is no longer available because the previous owner sold it separately.However, we provide an original Fröling Turbomat 320 control cabinet from stock with the boiler, which is part of the boiler's purchase price.
Based on available Fröling technical data, the Turbomat 320, 400, and 500 models use the same Lambdatronic H 3000 control platform and the same basic control cabinet architecture. Therefore, the Turbomat 320 cabinet is a technically suitable and valuable starting point for operating the Turbomat 500; it is expected that designing and building a completely new control cabinet will not be necessary.
The cabinet cannot be considered a "plug-and-play" solution without inspection:before commissioning, it must be inspected by a qualified industrial electrician or Fröling specialist, parameterized for the Turbomat 500, and adapted as necessary.
EXPECTED ELECTRICAL ADAPTATION
The main identified difference is the flue gas/exhaust fan drive:
• Turbomat 320: approx. 2.2 kW
• Turbomat 500: approx. 3.0 kW
Therefore,the frequency converter for the fan must be checked, andif necessary, replaced with a unit of appropriate power for the larger motor.
The commissioning specialist must check, among other things:
• motor protection switches, contactors, and fuses;
• frequency converters;
• connections of the fuel feed and dosing motors;
• WOS cleaning drive and ash removal motors;
• flue gas recirculation components;
• temperature, pressure, lambda, and safety sensors;
• control parameters for the Turbomat 500 and the selected fuel.
These are standard inspection and commissioning tasks when adapting an original control cabinet to another capacity member of the same boiler family.The available information does not indicate any fundamental incompatibility.The final electrical inspection, any additionally required parts, and commissioning are the responsibility and cost of the buyer.This also contributes to our ability to offer this industrial boiler at a net price of 15,000 €.
OPTIONALLY AVAILABLE ORIGINAL FRÖLING GAR EXTRACTION SYSTEM
The net boiler price of 15,000 € does not include a fuel extraction or wood chip feeding system.
An original Fröling GAR articulated arm, spring-arm agitator disc extraction system is available separately. This is not a generic silo feeder, but an original Fröling system with articulated spring arms, mixing device, extraction auger, electric motor, and gearbox.
The price of the complete Fröling GAR system is 3,500 €.
SIGNIFICANT PRICE ADVANTAGE
For comparison, the publicly advertised price of new industrial biomass boilers of similar capacity, depending on equipment and taxation, is roughlyapprox. 94,000 €in the 333–350 kW category, and aroundapprox. 135,000 €in the 500 kW category. When purchasing a new system, fuel extraction and transport are usually a separate item.
Therefore, the net price of 15,000 € for the Turbomat 500 represents significant savings even when considering the necessary electrical inspection, adaptation, and commissioning.
