GEA Hilge – premium German hygienic pump technology

The GEA Hilge process pumps are developed for food, beverage, and other hygienic technological systems. The NOVALOBE series is specially designed for conveying highly viscous media that require gentle handling.

Compact rotary lobe pump with NORD drive. Identified based on the original nameplate, the manufacturing designation 05/2019 unit can be selected for technological tasks where gentle conveying of the medium and a well-designable drive are important.

Key features and practical advantages

• 2.86 m³/h and 1.20 bar: the delivery data stated on the specific pump's nameplate; we coordinate the application together with the medium's viscosity and the pipe network's resistance.
• 0.55 kW and 181 1/min: the output and speed indicated on the original plate, for determining the drive and operating point.
• 30/0.33 size: according to the factory type code, 0.33 liters/revolution theoretical displacement; this is not identical to the actually measured volume flow rate.
• 50/50 connection: DN50 suction and discharge side according to the type code, adapted to the technological pipe network.
• ML, i.e., multilobe rotor: a rotor variant intended for low shear, gentle media conveying according to the factory catalog.

The 1.20 bar nameplate value is not a statement regarding the maximum pressure of the entire NOVALOBE series.
