GEA WTT – premium German heat exchanger technology

The German GEA WTT develops brazed plate heat exchangers for industrial heat transfer applications. The brazed design provides heat transfer between two separate fluid circuits with a small footprint.

For heat transfer in heating, cooling, and technological circuits, sized for the medium and the required operating point. We finalize the selection based on supply and return temperatures, volume flows, and permitted pressure losses.

Important features of the factory WP series manual

• Separate primary and secondary flow spaces: heat transfer without operational mixing of the media.
• Pressed stainless steel plates: the standard material of the series is 1.4401/1.4404 or 316/316L.
• Copper-brazed WP series: solid plate pack; medium compatibility with the brazing material must also be checked.
• Alternating plate arrangement: creation of two separate pressure spaces according to the factory structural description.
• Flushing cleaning: with a suitable, material-compatible cleaning fluid, in the direction opposite to normal flow.
• Water quality-adapted usage: the factory corrosion and scaling guide helps in planning long-term operation.

The attached GEA WTT factory installation, operation, and maintenance manual is the series document applicable to the WP family. The permitted pressure, temperature, material variant, and connections of the specific unit must be verified against its own data plate. The heat transfer performance depends on the operating point.

New equipment price – verification status

On October 5, 2026, we found no verifiable, public new price for the exact WP 10-160 model. The current brazed plate portfolio of Kelvion offers manufacturer coordination for a sized new assembly. This is not the exact new price or automatically substitute type of the original GEA WTT device.

A specific quote is required to verify the amount, currency, net/gross status, and equipment. The new unit's number of plates, pressure rating, connections, insulation, fittings, transport, and installation must be recorded separately. Request a quote for the used heat exchanger and your planned application.
