Lopper Kesselbau is a German heating technology manufacturer specializing in the development and production of wood gasification boilers. The Drummer series offers durable, manually fed wood gasification boilers where the controlled gasification of wood and bottom combustion ensure efficient heat transfer.
The Lopper Drummer boiler shown in the pictures features a robust, heat-resistant steel design with a top exhaust fan and its own control unit. The large combustion chamber and manual feed design are suited for log wood heating systems.
The appliance data plate shows the Drummer series, the 1998 year of manufacture, the 3 bar maximum allowable operating excess pressure, and the 95 °C maximum allowable supply temperature; the nominal output is listed as a 20 kW version in the type designation. During installation, inspection of the chimney, buffer tank, safety fittings, and the complete hydraulic system by a specialist is required.
New reference price: the price of current, similar 20–25 kW wood gasification boilers generally falls in the gross price range of 4,000–6,000 EUR; this is a comparative new price, not the original factory price of the old Lopper Drummer.
